Architect Arie Kutz graduated the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology – Architecture and City Planning – and received his Master’s degree at the Tokyo Institute of Technology – Architecture.
After years at the famous Yaski – Gil – Sivan architectural firm, he established 26 years ago Nir – Kutz Architects a partnership with Roni Nir. 16 years ago he established a sister company – Studio Landscape Architecture, a partnership with landscape architects M. Paul Friedberg and Dorit Shachar.
Arie Kutz is conducting a professional career embracing all aspects of architecture: city planning, landscape and urban design, public buildings, commercial and residential architecture. In parallel to his practice, Arie Kutz is teaching at the East Asia Studies Depatment in the Tel Aviv University. For the last 30 years Arie is conducting professional tours to Japan for Israeli architects. For the last 6 years Arie Kutz is the chairman of the Israel – Japan Friendship Society.
Among his projects are: The Fisrt International Bank HQ Building – as local architect for Pei, Cobb, Freed and Partners, The Baran HQ building, Blues Squre Israel HQ Building, The Tel Aviv Metropolitan Traffic Control Center, a new annex for the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law (competiton winner), Park Peres in Holon and Ginat Hasharon in Tel Aviv.
