The professional story of architect Guy Velikson began about 20 years ago, when he started his studies at Ariel University.
Since then He established ‘Vstudio Architects’ together with his partner David Azouz. they brought to life a significant number of residential and commercial projects. Guy’s private clients enjoy their brand-new villas, apartments not only all over Israel (Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Savyon, Herzliya, Bnei Brak, Kiryat Ono, Ramat Efal, Ramat Chen, Ramat Gan, Ramat HaSharon, Haifa, Rosh Pina, Kiryat Tivon and more) but also abroad (US and Europe). You may also taste Guy’s style by dining at ‘River’ restaurant chain, ‘Puzzle Food’ chain, ‘Ze Sushi’, ‘Mariposa’ chef restaurant, ‘Coffee-in’ or by staying at the ‘Brown Beach House’ hotel at Tel Aviv promenade area. And these are only several examples of cafes, restaurants, hotels, shops, lobbies he has created by now.
Few of the projects got national and worldwide recognition, won prizes, were published in such valued books as The Architects of Israel, Young Architects and others. But the main award that Guy is always eager to achieve is a happy client who falls in love with the result he gets.
Guy’s passion to architecture and design is also expressed in his willingness to share experience, perception and knowledge he has learned and discovered during his professional career. He has been conducting lectures in educational centers such as The College of Management; participated in TV shows (‘Design Studio’ on 2nd Channel), delivered Design courses and took part in professional events like Design week. Interviews and articles with his tips are being published in the most known printing and on-line media sources (BVN, BVD, TREND, Design by Touch, 99% Design, Nisha, Design Maariv, Walla TV, Nana10, XNet and many others). Once Guy hosted thousands of people as part of Open House Tel Aviv – annual event of opening some most architecturally and historically notable private buildings to the public.
Trips abroad, factory visits, close cooperation with local and worldwide companies and suppliers ensure being at the cutting edge of trends, technologies, materials, way of working. Not surprisingly once in a while he is invited to design and create concepts for some important projects, events, competitions.
Guy’s week is full of meetings, calls, visits on sites, conferences and plans. Still he finds time to spend with his two lovely children, family, close friends and even DJing electronic music.
